Here are some "before and after" pics...

Here are some pics of my old engine.  As you can tell, it had seen better days when I ripped it out and threw the 350 in.  It had 115,546 miles on it and needed some work.  The valve seals needed to be replaced, it had a really small oil leak at the front main seal, and one of the freeze plugs appeared to be leaking.

Hmm...maybe someone should have told the previous owners that you are supposed to change the oil every 3,000 miles. 

I know, the engine looked so good before I took it out...what was I thinking swapping in a crate 350??

Here is my new engine, still in the crate.  It came with those valve covers, but since then I have replaced them with the OEM style (black).  It didn't come with the intake, throttle body, or air cleaner assembly, I just put them on cause it looked cool.

Here it is after I first put it in.  Since then, I have made quite a bit of changes, which you can see by looking at the next picture.

This is what it looks like now.
